One person is dead and four others injured after a shooting in Sunnyvale, located northeast of Mesquite. The shooting occurred about 6 p.m. Sunday in the 200 block of Planters Road near an apartment complex and left four injured, including three children, with non-life-threatening injuries, Sunnyvale police said in a statement.Sunnyvale investigators are working with Mesquite police to learn more. No additional information about the shooting was released as of Sunday night.
