Philadelphia police are investigating a quintuple shooting that left at least one person dead on Tuesday night.
It happened around 10:30 p.m. on the 3400 block of Rorer Street in the city's Kensington section.Police say the victims are all men between the ages of 27 and 39.
A 39-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene after being shot multiple times, according to police.Three other gunshot victims are listed as critical at an area hospital. A fourth victim was listed as stable after being shot in the hand. According to Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small, about 50 shots were fired inside the garage, which is believed to be used to clean and detail vehicles.
"We're getting information that three males showed up wearing masks and entered this garage. And we know over 50 shots were fired from a semi-automatic weapon or weapons because we found over 50 spent shell casings," said Small.Anyone with information is asked to call police at 215-686-TIPS.
