A male was fatally shot in Cleveland on Monday morning during an incident that involved Maple Heights police, Cleveland police said.
Maple Heights police declined to discuss the incident Monday afternoon, telling cleveland.com that all information would have to come from Cleveland police.
Cleveland police said they were called to East 93rd Street and Buckeye Road at 4:17 a.m. to assist Maple Heights police, who had “been involved in an officer-involved shooting.” According to “preliminary information,” police had been pursuing a vehicle from the suburb, a two-paragraph statement from Cleveland police said.
