Blade Runner 2049 is largely considered one of the best sci-fi movies in recent cinematic history due to its portrayal of a plausible dystopian world. This is more than enough to supply most of Europe during winter and colder climates. Their futuristic aesthetic is unintentionally made to look somewhat dystopian because of the lack of livable land around that area. Blade Runner 2049 Used Other Real Locations Blade Runner 2049 was also shot in reallocations in Budapest, Hungary, specifically for the casino entrance scene toward the middle of the film. The casino entrance was shot at the Stock Exchange Palace at Szabadság Square in Budapest, Hungary. Much of the movie was shot in a Hungarian movie studio as well. Other real locations in Blade Runner 2049 are used for the solar central aerial shots in both Spain and Iceland.
