One person is in custody after drive-by shootings Tuesday afternoon at one of the Fort Worth Fire Department’s stations and its training academy.

Just before 3:30 p.m., a person in a white Ford Taurus drove by the Bob Bolen Public Safety Complex at 505 West Felix St. and fired five rounds at the building. Thirty firefighters were training in the building’s high-rise tower at the time, the department said. The person then drove about a mile down the road and fired three shots at Fire Station 17, striking the building.A suspect, whose name was not released, was taken into custody nearby a short time later, the fire department said. A motive for the shootings was not known.
