NSW Police have announced a staggering $1 million dollar reward for information into the suspected murder of 16-year-old Gordana Kotevski, who cops believe was abducted near Newcastle in 1994.

A 2003 coronial Inquest into her disappearance found she most likely died as the result of foul play.

Lake Macquarie Police District Commander Superintendent Steve Kentwell hopes the reward will encourage those who have not spoken up to come forward. “There are people out there – perhaps not just in the Lake Macquarie community, but elsewhere in the Hunter, around the state and even the country – who have vital information which could help Strike Force Arapaima detectives.
