Austin police are investigating a homicide in Downtown Austin early Sunday morning.
Police said around 4:55 a.m., officers responded to a shooting on E 7th Street between Sabine and Red River. An Austin police officer heard the shots nearby.
When officers arrived, they found a male with trauma to his upper torso. He was pronounced dead on the scene.Austin police are investigating after they said a suspicious death took place on E 7th street early Sunday morning. There have been no arrested and there is no description of the suspect. Police believe this is an isolated incident.All the news you need to know, every day
