A concrete balcony on a Sea Isle City condominium collapsed Friday afternoon onto the balcony below.
One person is trapped beneath the rubble of a balcony collapse at a boardwalk condominium building in Sea Isle City, officials said.
Officers were called to the building at 2:20 p.m. and found that an eighth floor balcony had collapsed down to the one below it on the seventh floor while three construction workers were present, Sea Isle City Police Lt. Jim McQuillen said. As of 6 p.m., crews were still working to remove the third worker from underneath the fallen balcony, he said.
