Harris County Sheriff's deputies responded to a shooting Sunday afternoon at a Walmart.

A man was shot Sunday afternoon in an east Houston Walmart, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office. The man who was shot was taken to a hospital and had been expected to survive, according to a Twitter post from A man had entered the Walmart and shot the other man and around 2:30 p.m. Gonzalez said deputies were responding at the scene.
Walmart employees told On Scene reporters they heard gunshots in the store and saw people start running.“I heard people yelling and running and I couldn’t make it out of the store,” another employee said. “I ended up going into a dark room until I ended up running out of the store.”
