Those heading to Kaboom Town in Addison on July 3 can also stop by Ida Claire’s Block Party, starting at 4 and going until 10 p.m. It promises food, live music, and a view of the Kaboom Town fireworks. It will be in the parking lot so pack extra sunscreen, and complimentary valet service is available.
There will be a $10 entry fee at the door is available with limited first come, first serve seating. As for what’s for dinner? Grilled chicken, glazed ribs, potato salad, grilled street corn, and mac and cheese, which go nicely with the restaurant’s Red, White, and Blue Frozen Flight with hurricanes, electric lemonades, and margaritas.
