The Harry Potter movies couldn't have included all the subplots and storylines of the books. But, the possible TV remake could restore these moments.

The Harry Potter movies cut several plotlines from the books, but the possible TV series remake can remedy those changes. Film adaptations only have a limited amount of time to squeeze in all the information from a book, which means that even important context will likely get left out. This is incredibly frustrating to book readers eager to see some of their favorite moments on the big screen, only to be let down.

The Marauders were the makers of Harry's Marauders' Map, but what the Prisoner of Azkaban movie missed was that Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot, and Prongs were Remus Lupin, Peter Pettigrew, Sirius Black, and James Potter. This group of friends, who became Animagi to support their werewolf friend, continued to be important throug the remainder of the series, but since the third movie left their story out, the rest of the plot points didn't line up.

A substantial part of this story was related by Winky the house-elf, who had served the Crouch family and was partially responsible for Crouch Jr.'s escape from his father's control at the Quidditch World Cup. The Harry Potter movies seemed to avoid house-elves as often as possible since they required lot of money and time to digitally create and place within the film. Therefore, the bulk of the big Crouch family secret was left out of the live-action interpretation of the story.

5 Lord Voldemort’s Personal & Family History In Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Harry began taking private lessons with Dumbledore, allowing him to learn all about Voldemort's history. This was seen, to a point, in the movie as well, but most of the memories that Harry witnessed were cut.

On the other hand, the Harry Potter books used the romance between Tonks and Lupin to further explore the latter's struggle with cowardice. He had no problem standing up to enemies and taught Harry a great deal about what it meant to be brave. But when it came to his own life, Lupin often ran away. This was the case with Tonks, and the big moment of Lupin's arc came when he chose to return to his wife after he had tried to walk out on her.

2 Harry's Survival Of Voldemort’s Killing Curse When Harry walked into the Forbidden Forest in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, he expected to sacrifice his life so that his friends would be spared. Of course, it didn't exactly work out that way, and he once again survived the Killing Curse. The reason for this was never explained in the movie, but the book series had been building to that moment from all the way back in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.
