Although the predominant villains in Star Wars are the Dark Lords of the Sith, there are other foes who are arguably even more terrifying. A mirror to the Jedi Order, the Sith utilize the dark side of the Force to gain power, dominate, and rule the galaxy. Having existed nearly as long as the Jedi themselves, the Sith grew in power for thousands of years. However, their power in the dark side hardly makes them the only terror in the galaxy far, far away. Some beings are even scarier.
9 Grand Admiral Thrawn Hailing from the world Csilla located in the Unknown Regions, Grand Admiral Thrawn joined the ranks of Palpatine's Empire during the Dark Times before the original trilogy, acknowledging Palpatine's power and seeking an alliance between the Empire and his own people, the Chiss Ascendancy. Having gained great knowledge and skills in the dark side, Snoke began teaching Kylo Ren after successfully corrupting the son of Leia Organa and Han Solo.
