A year ago, Marvel returned to Hall H on Comic-Con 2022 to announce the future of the MCU. Marvel’s Phases 5 and 6 were revealed, and the newest MCU saga consisting of Phases 4, 5, and 6 was named “The Multiverse Saga.” Since then, both Phases 5 and 6 have gone through significant changes, from release dates to the story.
Secret Invasion At SDCC 2022, Marvel announced that Secret Invasion, the Samuel L. Jackson-led series inspired by Marvel Comics’ Secret Invasion, would premiere in Spring 2023. However, Secret Invasion was slightly delayed and received a Summer 2023 release instead. Secret Invasion premiered on Disney+ on June 21, and the Secret Invasion finale will release on Wednesday, July 26.
Ironheart Marvel originally announced a Fall 2023 release for Ironheart. However, Ironheart has since been pushed back to 2024. Ironheart’s release date has yet to be announced, but the show will still premiere as part of Marvel’s Phase 5. 9 The Marvels Was Delayed 4 Months The Marvels, the Captain Marvel sequel that will see Carol Danvers teaming up with Monica Rambeau and Kamala Khan, was delayed four months from its original release date. The Marvels was supposed to premiere on July 28, 2023. However, The Marvels will now arrive in theaters on November 10, 2023. Interestingly, the latest The Marvels trailer seemly “spoils” Secret Invasion, as Nick Fury appears in a story that takes place after the Disney+ series.
6 Captain America 4 Movie Title Changed Captain America 4, the first Captain America movie centered on Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson as Captain America, was originally titled Captain America: New World Order. However, Captain America 4’s title was changed to Captain America: Brave New World. This was confirmed by an official set picture that also showcased Harrison Ford as Thunderbolt Ross.
