Weird creatures in Dungeons and Dragons
Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT WARNING! This article includes major SPOILERS for Dungeon & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves!Though the owlbear in Dungeon & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves may have appeared strange to those unfamiliar with D&D, there are many other weird D&D monsters that could appear in a sequel.
9 Rakshasa Rakshasas could make formidable opponents in Honor Among Thieves 2. A Rakshasa is a former devil that turned into a well-dressed tiger smoking a pipe with backward hands in D&D. Though they are physically weak in combat, they have the ability to curse adventurers with nightmares and shortened rest benefits. In previous editions, they possess the power of illusions which allows them to change into other creatures, similar to druids.
5 Boggle Boggles are small gray fae with large heads, pointed ears and teeth, and long fingers. In D&D, loneliness draws these creatures to the material plane, where they play tricks and pranks on others. Boggles can create a dimensional rift that allows them to instantaneously move across spaces 30 feet long. Fire has no effect on the creatures, and they produce an oil that makes them slippery or sticky. Rather than attacking to kill, a Boggle simply wants to annoy its target.
