'Possible' shark attack reported at Coral Bay in WA's north
A 10-year-old boy will be flown to Perth after being bitten by a shark in Coral Bay, on Western Australia's north-west coastline.
The Department of Fisheries said the boy was snorkelling 75 metres offshore at Five Finger Reef when a suspected two-metre bronze whaler attacked.The boy is receiving treatment at the Coral Bay nursing post and will be collected by the Royal Flying Doctor Service before being flown to Perth and transported to Perth Children's Hospital for further treatment.Authorities have urged anyone in the waters of the Coral Bay area to "take additional caution".
