7 Godzilla, Rodan, and Mothra vs. Ghidorah Interestingly, the battle between Godzilla and Ghidorah in Antarctica couldn’t have been the start of their rivalry in the MonsterVerse. One of the murals in Godzilla’s underwater city shows Godzilla, Rodan, and Mothra all lined up on one side with Ghidorah on the other, thus indicating that the trio teamed up against him before Ghidorah was lost to the ice.

4 Kong’s Ancestor vs. Tiamat Godzilla: Dominion, a graphic novel serving as a prequel to Godzilla vs. Kong, shed light on what Godzilla was up to before fighting Kong. He went looking for the lair of one of the ancient Kongs, only to run into Tiamat, a sea serpent monster and one of King of the Monsters’ missing Titans.
