The following people can make a claim on an estate include: either husband, wife or civil partner; children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and so on; mother or father; brothers or sisters who share both the same mother and father, or their children ; half brothers or sisters or their children; uncles and aunts or their children .They must be claimed within 30 years of the death of the person and you can prove your relation through a family tree.
