Maybe it's better we leave great things in the past and stop profiting off of nostalgia...
reboot was released in 2016. It seemed to do pretty well at first, but after Season 1, viewership dropped by 52% percent. This ultimately lead to the show being canceled. I never saw the reboot to be honest with you, but it doesn't sound like I'm missing a whole lot. when I was in the fifth grade — maybe not the ideal age to be watching honestly — but I can't get behind the reboot.
First red flag: WHERE IS TIMMY TURNER? The plot of this series is Timmy going off to college, so he leaves behind Cosmo and Wanda with his cousins. I mean, at least Cosmo and Wanda still sound and look the same...right?I LOVED ICARLY. I still do and I tried to get into the reboot, but again with the Gen Z language. Instead of it being relatable and"up to date," it comes off as a parody.
