A nurse at a correctional services facility in Sydney is among 14 new cases of coronavirus in New South Wales.
The nurse followed protocol while working at the Surry Hills Cell Complex on August 25 and is now in self-isolation along with 14 inmates who have also been placed in quarantine as the entire complex receives a deep clean.
Among the new cases, eight were linked to Tattersalls Club in in Sydney's CBD; three were patrons and five were close contacts. A total of 23 infections have now been linked to city venue. NSW Health is asking anyone who attended the Club between August 4 and August 25 to be tested and isolate immediately. Other new cases include a returned traveler and two household contacts of cases linked to Liverpool Hospital.
