Farm shops, delis and markets offer produce that sometimes can't be matched by what is found in supermarkets.And particularly during the coronavirus pandemic, it is more important than ever to support local businesses.There are markets which are held monthly and even weekly in many towns and villages across Northampton shire, so there is no reason why you should have to rely on the major supermarkets for fresh produce if you prefer not to.
The farm shop and cafe, based in Northampton, is open Wednesday-Saturday 9am-5pm where you can purchase poultry prepared at the onsite butchery. The farm shop also has a selection of all local beers, wines and spirits as well as a growing selection of fine wines. All are for sale in the Farm Shop and through the online store. The shop also stocks a wide variety livestock and pet feeds.
11. Marley Farm The family run farm shop in Daventry sells fresh, organic eggs, seasonal potatoes, logs, coal, jams and condiments, bird food and top quality pig roasts.
