A 17-year-old has been arrested for allegedly murdering two teenagers in his grandparents’ garage before setting their bodies on fire inside their car.
Connor Kerner was arrested in Indiana on Saturday for the murders of 19-year-old Molley Lanham and 18-year-old Thomas Grill. The pair had been missing since February 25, but a tip from an "anonymous source” told the Porter County Sheriff's Office Kerner was responsible for their murder. According to court documents, the source told authorities they were at Kerner’s house on the day of murder when the 17-year-old told them: “"I killed someone and I killed an innocent girl”.
The victims were believed to have to come to Kerner’s grandparents’ house for a drug deal, but things turned sour when Grill allegedly attempted to rob the accused."Kerner advised that he panicked due to being out of bullets in the gun. Kerner then beat him with a pipe wrench until he died,” the source said.
