A 17-year-old is behind bars in connection with a fatal shooting at a central Oak Cliff gas station in June.

Shortly before 11 p.m. June 26, officers were called to the 100 block of West Ann Arbor Avenue, near Interstate 35E and Loop 12, where they found Dawson with a gunshot wound. Dallas Fire-Rescue took him to a hospital, where he died, police said. Meanwhile, Dawson, who left his car running, was using the night window, the affidavit says. As Wilson and two others walked to Wilson’s car, the fourth suspect — whom police allege pulled the trigger — got into the driver’s seat of Dawson’s truck.
