Police were dispatched to an Irving hospital about 11:40 a.m. Thursday after 17-year-old Jorge Hernandez was dropped off there by several men. A 19-year-old witness, whose identity was not released, stayed with Hernandez, police said.Police said Hernandez was sitting in the front passenger seat of a car when he was shot by one of two males sitting in the back seat.
No other details were released. The investigation is ongoing, police said, and a motive has not been determined.
