17-year-old stabbed to death, two other teens injured in fight at Chula Vista house party [Breaking]
A 17-year-old boy was stabbed to death and two other teens were seriously injured during a fight at a large house party in Chula Vista early Saturday, police said.
One female called 911 and reported someone had been stabbed and that her friend was dying, Chula Vista police Sgt. Anthony Molina said. Other callers said people were fleeing the area and that multiple people were injured.Officers arrived in four minutes and, inside the house, found a 17-year-old who had been stabbed at least once in the torso, Molina said. Police and medics performed life-saving measures, but the teen died before he could be taken to a hospital.
A third 17-year-old was found two blocks away with a single stab wound to the torso, Molina said. He was taken to a hospital and was also in stable condition.Investigators determined the house party had attracted as many as 60 people, mostly older teens and young adults, and that people had tried to save the 17-year-old who had been fatally stabbed.
