York City is considering renovating four parks by using half a million dollars in American Rescue Plan Act money—the $1.9 trillion stimulus bill passed in 2021.Over the next few weeks, the public can participate in meetings and surveys to voice their concerns and suggestions for repairs.
What type of play equipment they would like to see; what type of walking paths they would like to see; how to make those connections between the three parks. Also, making sure we have family area stuff—we need to do pavilion-wise stuff like that. So, these are the things that residents are able to come out tonight and actually be a part of.
