An 18-year-old man accused of shooting and killing a 15-year-old in downtown Seattle on March 2 appeared before a judge on Thursday.
Prosecutors asked for the suspect’s bail to be set at $1 million but the judge set bail at $500,00 and found probable cause for second-degree murder.
When officers arrived, they found a teen who had been shot in his stomach and arm. The teen, later identified as Michael Del Bianco, was taken to Harborview Medical Center, where he died. After a short time, Del Bianco pulled what appeared to be a gun out of his jacket and walked closer to the man, police said. The two exchanged words and the man held out a blue bandana toward Del Bianco, whom police said pulled it out of the man’s hand “aggressively.”
