Cases against the other four suspects in a 2018 double homicide in Fayette County are pending.
pleaded guilty Friday, agreeing to serve two consecutive life sentences.
Padilla, 55, and Sandlin, 56, were found shot to death at Padilla’s home outside Carbon Hill on May 1, 2018. Cases against Lorazo Moran of New Jersey, Lindettia Lynette Lowery of Fairfield, Brandon Dewayne Lowery and Brittany Bell-Spates are still pending.The nine-count indictments stated that the suspects knowingly and unlawfully entered or remained or attempted to enter or remain unlawfully in Padilla’s home with intent to commit the crimes of murder and/or robbery, and/or theft of property.
