SALT LAKE CITY — Two men were arrested early Monday in connection with a suspected road rage incident in Salt Lake City.
Just after 3 a.m., a man called 911 to report that another car was following him near 800 W. North Temple. While police were en route, dispatchers were told that a passenger in the back seat had now pointed a gun at the victim, according to a statement from Salt Lake police.Mitchell Grant Motta, 31, who was sitting in the back seat, was arrested for investigation of aggravated assault and being a restricted person in possession of a gun.
The driver, Robert Alexander Kimsey, 35, was arrested for investigation of drug-related charges — including possession of a fentanyl pill — and driving on a suspended license, in addition to having an outstanding warrant.
