Justice has just begun for the family of a 24-year-old man who was shot and killed in 2021 in Pearland after two arrests have been made, according to the Houston Police Department.
Ronnie Davontay Scott, 27, and Nichole Clarke-Crocker, 21, were both charged with capital murder in the fatal shooting of Donnie Glover.A mother speaks out following the murder of her son
Glover had just recently graduated from college and moved to Houston in October of 2020, according to his mother, Shanashee Yarber. But on Feb. 23, 2021, authorities say they received a 911 call from Glover about him being followed by suspects who were trying to steal his vehicle outside of an apartment complex at 4045 Linkwood Drive. Police said the 911 dispatcher then heard gunshots.
HPD investigators said further details led to charges being filed on Crocker, who was already in jail on an unrelated charge.Scott was out on bond for two aggravated robbery charges prior to this arrest.Moriah Ballard joined the KPRC 2 digital team in the fall of 2021.
