Missouri City resident wins $2 million from scratch-off lottery ticket at Stafford gas station

The winner, who apparently has come forward but who has chosen to remain anonymous, bought the winning ticket at Murphy Chevron, 3702 Greenbriar Drive in Stafford.. In it, players scratch off 30 numbers to match with the winning numbers. It cost $30 and offers prizes starting at $50.

The odds of winning something by playing Premier Cash are slightly less than one in four, according to Texas Lottery. However, that is just to earn some type of prize. The Missouri City winner, on the other hand, happened to nab the third of just four single tickets that came with the game's top $2 million prize.
