UPDATE: Two teenagers were killed and another injured after an argument led to a shootout on Sunday night outside of a Pasadena apartment complex, police said.

A 16-year-old boy was shot to death and found by officers around 10 p.m. north of the Red Pines Apartments on the 3800 block of Red Bluff Road after a disturbance erupted in the parking lot, police said. Two other teenagers, 15 and 17, respectively, were taken by helicopter to Memorial Hermann Hospital, where the older teen died from a gunshot wound to the face.
The 15-year-old, who was shot in the abdomen, told police that the three had met in the parking lot shortly before the shootoutA handgun was recovered from the eldest teen, police said, and another was found near the original shooting location.
