Highs will reach the low-to-mid 50s this afternoon
It's a clear and cool start to the day, with temperatures in the low-to-mid 40s. Look for plentiful sunshine this morning, then a mix of sun and high clouds this afternoon. After a near-record high of 75 degrees yesterday, today will be over 20 degrees cooler, feeling more like November. Lows will fall to the low 40s overnight, as a warm front approaches. Clouds will gradually increase, and a sprinkle is possible.
Thursday will feature mostly cloudy skies, and a few showers from late morning through mid-afternoon, as a cold front passes. Ahead of the front, temperatures will warm to near 70 degrees again. Clouds stick around Friday, and there could be some showers along and south of Rt. 30, as a disturbance slides by to our south. Highs will fall back to the 50s. A dry weekend is in store, with highs in the low 50s. Temperatures gradually warm to the mid-60s by the end of next week.
