The rebrand comes as she launches new music, in the form of her first single – Karma – since 2020 with an album believed to be on the way. ‘It seems that everyone wants to have their 2013 Miley Cyrus “bad girl” rebrand 😭,’ shared X user whitehotpeppers in response. Another user KryptKeeper21 scathed: ‘Why can’t artists just like transition into a new era without having to be “bad” or “edgy” or whatever? Like we get it you’re not Disney-coded anymore.
