The 2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer's inline-six gets better mpg than the V-8:

Now the EPA has released fuel-economy ratings for this new powertrain setup, and the high-output Hurricane beats the Grand Wagoneer’s 6.4-liter V-8 when it comes to efficiency.The EPA rates the all-wheel-drive, six-cylinder 2022 Grand Wagoneer at 14 mpg city and 20 mpg highway, for 17 mpg combined. This is notably better than the 6.
Starting in 2023, the Hurricane will also be available in the Wagoneer, which is currently fitted with a 5.7-liter V-8. With all-wheel-drive, the 5.7-liter nearly matches the Grand Wagoneer six-pot’s fuel economy with 15 mpg city, 20 mpg highway, and 17 mpg combined. It’s worth noting, however, that this comparison is with the high-output Hurricane, and the 420-hp standard-output version that will also be available next year could return better figures.
