Former NSW Origin winger Nick Cotric will return to the Raiders next season after being released from the remaining two years of his contract with Canterbury.
Cotric moved from Canberra to the Bulldogs last season and played 14 NRL matches for his new club but was offered the opportunity to return home and has signed a three-year deal with the Raiders. "I'd like to thank Nick on behalf of the club, for the great effort and level of professionalism he has shown while here at the Bulldogs," Canterbury CEO Aaron Warburton said.
"He has been a fantastic ambassador for the club, on and off the field, and we greatly appreciate the way that he has carried himself through this process. "We now wish Nick all the best with the next stage of his career, in the knowledge that he will always be a part of the Bulldogs family."Rein joined the squad for pre-season training on Sunday alongside another new recruit, Bailey Simonsson, and will provide some much-needed cover at hooker for Reed Mahoney.
