The South Carolina Gamecocks are the odds-on favorites to repeat after becoming NCAA champions for the second time under head coach Dawn Staley last year.
Power forward Aliyah Boston leads the way for South Carolina, sitting second on the team with 13.3 points and leading them with 9.7 rebounds and two blocks per game. However, Stanford has more wins against Top 50 NET teams than anyone else not named South Carolina this season, and Haley Jones is the straw that stirs the Cardinal drink. The sophomore guard averaged 13.4 points, 9.1 rebounds, and 4.1 assists per game during the regular season, and she forms a dynamic duo with junior forward Cameron Brink, who leads the team with 14.9 ppg and 9.5 rpg.
