GWM Australia has announced further discounts across its Ora electric vehicle range , with up to $2000 cut from the Extended Range and GT versions. The mid-spec 2024 GWM Ora Extended Range has seen its price cut by $2000 to $36,990 drive-away, making it the most affordable EV in Australia with a driving range of over 400 kilometres per charge.
Both the Ora Extended Range and GT use the same 63kWh ternary lithium battery pack compared to the Standard Range’s smaller 48kWh lithium-ion unit, and are powered by a 126kW/250Nm electric motor on the front axle. Standard equipment across the range includes dual 10.25-inch displays, power adjustable front seats, and surround parking cameras; while the GT adds sportier styling and items like a panoramic sunroof, power tailgate and an automated parking assistant.
