BOOM Ohio forward Colin White, the No. 152 overall prospect in the nation, becomes the second commit in Ohio State's 2024 class.
White played for Indiana Elite on the Adidas USSB circuit this summer. On a team that went 39-3, he averaged 14.3 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game while shooting 49.7% from the field. White was named to the All-Breakout team following his first season on the 3SSB circuit.
Time and time again, White proved that he can compete with the best of the best, not only in the state of Ohio during the season but on the AAU circuit as well as he continues to develop his game and get his body prepared for the Big Ten level. “He might not play right away, but his ability to develop and play as he gets older is going to be important," a source toldabout White. "If he didn’t play for a non-circuit AAU team for 15u and 16u he would be a top-100 player.”
White has prioritized improvement as a long-range shooter and on defense ahead of his final high school season.."This spring and summer, I have really showcased that. I’ve worked on my shooting and also on my defense and locking in and being a better player on the defensive end of the floor.”
