Ram has opened the order books for the electric pickup truck before production starts next year

The automaker has claimed that it will be able to add up to 100 miles of range in 10 minutes with 800-volt DC fast charging at up to 350 kW. While towing capacities have not been disclosed yet, Ram has stated that it will “lead the competition,” suggesting it will be able to tow more than the 10,000 lbs offered by the Chevrolet Silverado EV and Ford F-150 Lightning, and may even surpass the Tesla Cybertruck’s claimed 14,000 lbs .
“The Ram brand has redefined the pickup truck segment before and will once again with the all-new Ram 1500 REV,” said Ram boss Mike Koval Jr. “We believe in bringing the right range of powertrain solutions to our customers, and the Ram 1500 REV will be the first in a lineup of electrified solutions that will add to our current award-winning truck lineup.
