Chery is set to launch its new baby SUV – the Tiggo 4 Pro – with sharp pricing, undercutting rivals such as the MG ZS, Kia Stonic, Mitsubishi ASX, and GWM Haval Jolion. The new Tiggo 4 Pro will start from $23,990 drive-away for the base Urban. For context, none of the aforementioned cars – apart from the base ZS Excite – come in under $25,000 once on-road costs are accounted for.
The Tiggo 4 Pro isn’t an all-new model – it has been sold overseas for years as the Tiggo 5x, racking up over half a million global sales. It entered production back in 2017, though it has subsequently been updated. It will hit Australian showrooms in October, taking Chery’s local model count to four. Pricing Two Tiggo 4 Pro model grades will be offered at launch.
