LDV only recently overhauled its T60 ute, but it looks set to bring a new-generation ute to Australia. The LDV Terron 9 has been approved for sale, with government approval documents detailing four different variants of the diesel-powered ute. We’ve contacted LDV Australia to confirm when the Terron 9 will launch. Its electric counterpart, the eTerron 9, has already been confirmed for a local launch early in 2025. 100s of new car deals are available through CarExpert right now.
It’ll be available with rear- or all-wheel drive, though it’s worth noting government approval documents can include variants that don’t end up going on sale. The documents list rear-wheel drive versions with either a gross vehicle mass of 3320kg or 3500kg, as well as two all-wheel drive versions with the same GVM figures. Per the documents, the new ute will be offered with either 18-inch or 20-inch wheels.
