Euless police said 22-year-old Elijah Royal was arrested by the Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office in connection with the death of 19-year-old Lamonte Robert Watkins.Officers were called about 5:30 p.m. Thursday to an apartment complex in the 600 block of East Ash Lane and found Watkins in the parking lot with a gunshot wound, police said. He was taken to a hospital in Grapevine, where he died early Friday, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office.
