23-year-old driver arrested in suspected DUI crash that killed one driver, injured others [Breaking]
A suspected drunken driver was arrested Monday night after she allegedly drove into oncoming traffic on state Route 76 in Pala, killing a driver, authorities said.
Bianca Anahy Hernandez was booked into the Vista jail, where she’s being held in lieu of $500,000 bail, according to jail records.According to the CHP, Hernandez was driving east on SR-76 in a Toyota Camry when she drove into the westbound lane, causing a series of crashes involving three other vehicles.
Despite the efforts of first responders rendering medical care, the driver of the Lexus died at the scene before she could be taken to a hospital. Her name was not immediately released.
