Hundreds of households across Northamptonshire could be eligible for £250 of cost of living support this winter. The money is part of the government's £421 million Household Support Fund.
Both North Northamptonshire Council and West Northamptonshire Council have announced their guidelines for eligibility as it can alter between local councils. The primary condition is that you must be earning under £400 a week.Those who do earn under £400 a week must also be in work. You also cannot receive the new payment if you received the Cost of Living Payment of £650 handed out last year.
The first award of £125 will be credited to bank accounts at the point the application is approved. The second payment will be credited to the same bank account 60 days later .
