At least 6 people were injured after a shooting at Sojourner Truth Independent Study in Oakland, according to authorities.At least six people were injured after a shooting at a school in Oakland, Calif. on Wednesday, according to an Alameda County Sheriff's Office spokesperson.
Three other victims were sent to Eden Medical Hospital. One of the victims was released later in the afternoon. The others are still being treated and are said to be in stable condition. At this time, law enforcement has not released any information about the possible shooter or shooters other than they have "fled" the scene.They said they are looking into the circumstances of where the shooting occurred, saying the shooting was within the "proximity" and "threshold" of campus, suggesting the shooting may have started outside and moved indoors.
