Sharon Stone is suing Chanel West Coast for using her name and likeness in the 2018 song and music video 'Sharon Stoned.'
Chanel West Coast attends the 2019 MTV Movie and TV Awards at Barker Hangar on June 15, 2019, in Santa Monica, California. Actor Sharon Stone sued the rapper for infringement.
In addition to accusing of infringement of Stone's name and likeness in the"Sharon Stoned" song and video, the lawsuit also claims Dudley attempted to use Stone's image as"celebrity endorser" without her permission or consent because the video for"Sharon Stoned" includes product placement for Shrine rolling papers.
The lawsuit is requesting Dudley to"refrain from using Sharon Stone's name, likeness, image, identity, or persona for commercial purposes without her consent" in addition to punitive damages and profits Dudley may have made from the song and video.An image of Chanel West Coast's Instagram stories on November 6, 2019, is depicted.Meanwhile, Dudley has responded to the lawsuit on her social media accounts.
