Three people were shot on Clark Street, in an area near the Pride Parade route, early Monday as celebrations were winding down.

Three people were wounded in a Lakeview East shooting early Monday, according to Chicago police, as celebrationsOfficers responded to the shooting in the 3100 block of North Clark Street about 1:30 a.m. A group of people had been standing outside when multiple shots were fired, police said. The area of Clark where the shooting occurred was near the intersection of North Halsted Street and West Belmont Avenue, which was part of the Chicago Pride Parade route.

A 30-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to the knee and paramedics took him to Illinois Masonic in good condition. Another man, 37, suffered a leg wound and paramedics took him to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in good condition.According to police, the people who were shot were unable to provide additional details about the circumstances of the shooting. No arrests have been made and detectives continue to investigate.
