Bosa was standing on the sideline gearing up to take the field after a 49ers punt. While he was watching the play, Eagles corner Josh Jobe sprinted up the sideline trying to cut off 49ers gunner Tarvarius Moore. However, Moore shoved Jobe out of bounds and sent him flying. As Jobe’s leg swung wildly, his cleat clipped the ankle of Bosa, who immediately fell to the ground in pain.
Bosa did not miss any plays tending to the injury, but a camera angle from the Fox broadcast of the game clearly showed his ankle bleeding through his sock. At the end of Philly’s drive, Bosa appeared to limp to the sideline, possibly dealing with pain from the cut. However, Bosa has remained in the game and recorded his first sack of the postseason on the following Eagles possession.
