Crawling infants can become entangled in the straps, posing entanglement and strangulation hazards.
4moms has received two reports of entanglement incidents involving infants who became caught in the strap after they crawled under the seat of an unoccupied MamaRoo infant swing. A 10-month-old infant died from asphyxiation, and a 10-month-old infant suffered bruising to his neck before being rescued by a caregiver.4moms notes that the recall only affects previous versions of the MamaRoo with a three-point harness.
