A Dauphin County police officer was injured in a crash Thursday night while responding to the chase.

A woman told police a man put a gun to her head and stole her car around 10:14 p.m. Thursday on the 100 block of South Second Street in Steelton, according to police. Police said Lower Paxton Township officers found the stolen car, crashed, near Milroy Road and Adams Drive. The five suspects were taken into custody at the scene.
Tyjeir Wilson, of Steelton; Aalir Mayo, of Harrisburg; and Edwin Rojas Cardova, of Highspire, were charged with numerous crimes, including conspiracy to commit robbery and reckless endangering another person. Two unnamed juveniles are also facing charges.near the Interstate 83 ramp off Derry Street. The officer and the other vehicle’s driver were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
